Clean your filthy carpets!!! Upgrade your furniture and fix those leaky windows!!! Filthy bathrooms with no toiletries, really? Security is a joke. flimsy doors don’t inspire confidence!!!

i recently stayed here for a night and found the location to be super convenient, just a short walk from the city center. the room was clean, comfy, and surprisingly spacious. the staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in easy and pleasant.

the bathroom had a persistent unpleasant smell.

Good vibes but some issues

The staff were super friendly and there’s plenty of parking. Location is awesome, just a short walk to town. But yikes, no hot water in the shower, and the room felt a bit exposed since there were no blinds. Breakfast was okay, but the setup was kinda chaotic with stuff missing.

The Dene feels a bit tired and dated. Location is a huge plus, just a quick 10-15 minute walk to the center. we stayed at the dene and loved the friendly staff. the hotel is in a great spot, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. we really appreciated how the location is perfect for animal lovers like us, especially with the nearby zoo. the superior twin room was fairly clean and comfortable, although a bit dated.

The hotel is conveniently located near The Roodee, which was a perfect outing for the family. We loved being able to visit the oldest racecourse in the country and take our dog along. The staff were friendly and made our stay enjoyable.

Great place for a quick stopover

The room was clean and cozy, we felt right at home. The reception staff were friendly and accommodating when we needed an extra fan to cool the place down.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but it was still acceptable.

fantastic proximity to parks and historical landmarks

during my weekend stay, I loved how close the beautiful Chester Cathedral was, just a short stroll away, and the famous Walls of Chester were perfect for a leisurely walk while soaking in the city’s rich history.

Had a great time with my friends! We checked out the oldest racecourse in the country and snapped some pics at the iconic clock tower. Perfect for creating memories together! The staff were friendly and always ready to help, making our group stay even more enjoyable.

One downside was that one of our rooms had a strange issue with a lock, which was a bit concerning. It took away from the overall experience a little.
